Wild Hearts official story trailer is here

Wild Hearts is near us, like a beast lurking in search of its prey. The game is being developed by Omega Force, a subsidiary of Koei Tecmo. For those who don't know, the game is considered a spiritual successor to Toukiden, games from the past decade that also featured this genre of giant monster hunting. Perhaps with the resounding success of Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter Rise, EA was influenced to pick up the series again and relied on those who already had experience in the portfolio.

Wild Hearts will be released for the new generation consoles, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Windows on February 17, starting with the early access test launching on February 13. The development team has released a new story trailer ahead of the game's global release to add context to all your upcoming monster-hunting adventures.

Koei Tecmo welcomes you to Minato, a land filled with all sorts of colorful characters, many of whom are key to your adventure in Wild Hearts. Naturally, the story trailer also shows a bunch of big nasty monsters you will fight along the way and why hunters must defeat them. In addition to Toukiden, the creators of Wild Hearts have experience with action games as they have developed the Dynasty Warrior series. Taking the action to a fantasy version of feudal Japan where gigantic beats known as Kemono roam the land and humans battle them using contraptions known as Karakuri sounds interesting enough to check out the game.

Wild Hearts will be fully released on February 17. However, those who want to get in early can do so on the 13th. EA will be running a 10-hour Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial.
