When it comes to games inspired by Games Workshop's popular tabletop miniature game, Total War: Warhammer 3 offers the most epic battles. The third installment in the strategy series offers exciting campaigns where players can command the forces of the Ruinous Powers or try to withstand their final assault in the Realm of Chaos. The list of new legendary lords and factions is almost endless now, especially when playing Mortal Empires, which includes the factions from all three games in the series. Also, Developer Creative Assembly has released a huge number of DLC to expand the game even more. However, there is still room for improvement in certain aspects of the game, and the community of fans who love the game has a lot to say on this matter.

Enhancing the AI

According to the players, the AI of the game has been playing too defensively and overreacted to the presence of player's heroes in Total War: Warhammer 3. Creative Assembly is tackling this issue and others by introducing new improvements to the behaviour of the AI-controlled factions. Extensive balance changes have been implemented across the board in fields like anti-player bias, distance scaling, aggression, and faction potential. The aim of those changes is to offer a more dynamic and engaging gameplay experience by preventing the AI from reacting too aggressively against the player's actions when it's not needed.

These changes are already available for testing on the Beta version of the game via Steam. It's important to notice that they may not make it into the final game. Players have a lot to say about that as Creative Assembly is tracking the feedback provided by them to gauge the impact of the changes.
