The very final Intel Core Ultra 200 "Arrow Lake" CPU specifications revealed

Details of five upcoming Core Ultra 200 series CPUs from Intel have been leaked, providing information on the K-series of overclockable LGA1851 CPUs set to be released later this month in conjunction with new LGA1851 motherboards.

Similar to their 14th-generation Raptor Lake predecessors, Intel’s new Ultra 9, 7, and 5 processors will come with 8+16, 8+12, and 6+8 P-core/E-core configurations, respectively. Notably, these new CPUs from Intel seem to be lacking Hyperthreading and all five models will include NPUs capable of 13 TOPS of AI performance.

All models will include Intel's Thermal Velocity Boost, previously only available on higher-end Core i9 processors. Additionally, only the Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 will support Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0. The Thermal Design Power (TDP) for the Core Ultra 9 and 7 is up to 250 watts, while the Core Ultra 5 has a TDP of up to 159 watts. Each processor will have a base power consumption of 125 watts.

Intel's K-series GPUs will continue to feature integrated graphics, while their KF series CPUs will not. It's worth noting that there is currently no Ultra 9 285KF model.

In terms of CPU clock speeds, Intel’s new P-cores are slower compared to their last-generation counterparts. For instance, Intel’s i9-14900K might see its P-cores reaching up to 6 GHz, and the new Ultra 9 285K will have its P-cores boosted up to 5.7 GHz. However, it's important to remember that the new Ultra 200 series CPUs from Intel come with enhanced IPC performance due to the new E-core and P-core designs. Therefore, the lower clock speeds do not necessarily indicate slower CPUs.

While specifications are important, they don't provide the full performance picture. It's essential to wait for reviews to gauge the real-world performance of Intel’s next-generation CPUs, as specifications alone may not translate to actual performance gains.
