The most anticipated characters have arrived in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
We finally get to see one of the most anticipated DLC packs for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, featuring fan-favorite characters from the Dragon Ball franchise. As part of the current Season Pass, players will receive two Dragon Ball Daima DLC packs along with one Super Hero DLC.
The main focus of this DLC will be on characters from the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and it has been confirmed that it will include 11 additional characters. Among them are Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Cell Max, and four Super Hero-themed variants of Gohan and Piccolo.
The early access video revealed Gohan (Super Hero) transforming into Gohan Beast, as well as Piccolo (Super Hero) evolving into Giant Orange Piccolo. The DLC will also feature Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Cell Max, all of whom come with unique animations for their attacks, whether used against smaller or larger opponents.
It was also revealed that Gohan (Super Hero) starts at a cost of 4 and can ascend to his final form, Gohan Beast, which has a cost of 9. This has sparked concerns among players about potential balance issues, as Gohan starts at a relatively low cost but can reach the same level as Ultra Instinct Goku and Giant Cell Max. However, given Spike Chunsoft’s consistent efforts to maintain game balance through regular updates, players can remain optimistic about fair gameplay.

The Super Hero Pack DLC will also include a Piccolo Red Ribbon Army Disguise Costume and three Custom Battles. The DLC is set to launch on January 23, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles, with players who own the Season Pass gaining early access starting on January 20.
