The latest Horizon Zero Dawn fixes graphical issues on PC

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most popular games on PlayStation 4, not only because it was exclusive to Sony's console at launch, but also because it delivers an amazing experience in a post-apocalyptic world. Guerrilla Games did a very good job with Horizon Zero Dawn and quite a lot of players have followed the adventures of Aloy and immersed themselves in a game that takes us a thousand years into the future. A few human tribes survive as hunters and gatherers in a world dominated by machines and now under the threat of a strange phenomenon that has caused the machines to become violent.

With its combination of thrilling combat, exploration, and RPG mechanics, Horizon Zero Dawn gameplay captivated a lot of players. The announcement of the release of the game on PC was an unexpected surprise and now that the game has been available on that platform, developer Guerrilla Games is focusing on fixing some graphical issues to improve its performance.

The latest Horizon Zero Dawn patch optimizes shaders, improves loading times, and fixes the problems with anisotropic filtering, and it hopefully will help the game to run better on many rigs. There is a list of issues that the developers still have to fix but those will have to wait until the next patch.

Despite those problems, Horizon Zero Dawn is still a great game and definitely recommended, especially now that its sequel Horizon Forbidden West is on the way. While you can delve into the new adventure of Aloy without having played the previous game, the story will make much more sense to you if you have knowledge of the previous events.
