The Dark Pictures Anthology's new chapter is The Devil in Me

The fans of the horror games were in for a nice treat when the first chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology was announced. Man of Medan offered the player a new type of cooperative horror experience but knowing that it would be followed by several other chapters guaranteed that the level of fun could only increase. The formula used in the games in The Dark Pictures Anthology is quite simple but at the same time incredibly effective in delivering a unique experience that you will never forget. You play the game as one of the characters in an interactive drama and find yourself in a strange and potentially lethal situation along with other players.

In the case of Man of Medan, you are trapped in a ghost ship. In Little Hope, you are part of a group of students trapped by a strange fog in an abandoned village full of apparitions from the past. House of Ashes puts you in the shoes of a soldier whose team accidentally discovers some haunted ruins while on a mission in the desert. In all these games, the group's survival depends on the decisions made by each of the players, who can affect not only themselves but also others.

Supermassive Games has just announced the next chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me.

What's the story in The Devil in Me?

As in previous chapters, you will be transported to a completely different scenario in The Devil in Me. In this case, you will be part of a filming crew that has been invited to a replica of the J.J. Holmes castle to record a documentary. Of course, things will take a dark twist when you arrive at the place, and you will discover that the first serial killer in Northamerica had a lot of secrets.

The Devil in Me promises to be the most terrifying experience in the series to date, and it will conclude the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology. Like its predecessors, it will be available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC via Steam. No release date has been confirmed yet for the game, but we expect that it will be available very soon.
