The Airship map arrives to Among Us in two weeks

It was announced a while ago but several problems during the development have delayed the release of The Airship, a brand new map that is coming to Among Us. We could see some details about this new location where you will have to hunt down the Impostors during The Game Awards last December, but we were expecting to be able to play in the new map much earlier. Developer InnerSloth has just confirmed that The Airship will finally be available on March 31.

A publication in the official blog of the game has been the way to reveal that the somewhat unexpected huge success of the game has been an issue for a small development team like them. Also, maintaining a fluid cross-platform gameplay support is something that requires quite a bit of work. The studio had to hire more people and make sure that Among Us experience continued to be as fun as always.

The Airship will add another scenario to the game that will join the Skeld, Polus, and Mira H.Q., offering a new batch of possibilities both to Crew members and Impostors. It will be added as a free update at the end of this month and it will also include "new tasks, the ability to pick the room you start in, ladders, and a basic account system for moderation". Precisely, the addition of an account system will be very welcomed by many players as it will help to keep the toxicity level Among Us quite low. Currently, there is no way of tracking someone's activities in the game, and even though most members of the community behave properly, it's also true that some rotten apple can ruin your game if you are unlucky enough to end in a game with it.

Among Us proves that a small studio can accomplish great things with a good idea and proper execution. If you are yet to try the game you can find it at the best price on our comparator anytime.
