Terraria receives a massive update

It's been more than eleven years since the release of Terraria and the guys at Re-Logic Studio does not seems to run out of ideas to add novelties to their game. This indie survival game with a deep focus on crafting has evolved a lot since it was released, becoming bigger and better. The game has managed to catch the attention of more than 46 million players, and a huge community supports it. Therefore, it's not surprising that the developers want to continue expanding it with new features. Today's Labor of Love update introduces many changes, many of them taken from players' suggestions, and a bunch of error fixes.

There are several new world seeds, including one that turns the world upside down for some funny interactions, and the Zenith world seed, that combines the best features from all the others. Another interesting novelty is that you can now create three separate inventory loadouts for your character in Terraria. You won't have to click endlessly to swap items depending on if you are building or fighting, for example. Also, most items now stack to 999, which greatly helps with inventory management.

The Labor of Love update also reworks melee combat in Terraria. Many balance changes have been applied and some specific mechanics changes have been introduced too. You now cant't block your own piercing projectiles with a projectile sword if your target is at point blank range.

Builders can also make use of 25 new types of blocks and walls, as well as new coatings and builder tools, for a total of over 300 new items to experiment with in the game.

Overall, the Labor of Love update is a massive free addition that is already available. It makes Terraria even better with plenty of quality of life chanes. If you want to check it out, visit out comparator to find your Terraria code cheap for all platforms available.
