With the release of Tekken 8 around the corner, Bandai Namco is finishing the promotion of the game. We have had the opportunity to watch plenty of footage of the game, including the presentation of many of the fighters that will be available in the game. Recently, we watched a detailed recap of the story in the series, from the original conflict between Kazuya and Heiachi to the enmity between Jin and his father as the last bearers of the devil gen. Tekken 8 will bring the conclusion to this conflict with a spectacular clash but the game will also feature a wide range of fighters that will take part in the next King of the Iron Fist Tournament.
Bandai Namco has just released a new video that showcases the opening scene of the game. It's a brief video that reveals many of the fighters that will appear in Tekken 8 at launch. However, the video also has room to show several details about the animation and motion capture process in the game and additions that Tekken 8 will receive during its first season. The footage is focused on Eddie, who will be available as a DLC character during next Spring. There will be three characters more available in Tekken 8 throughout 2024, but they are to be announced yet.
Tekken 8 will compete with Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 to be the best fighting video game this year, but it's quite likely that you already have chosen your favourite fighting video game series.
