Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for Tales of Graces F Remastered, showcasing the changes included in this new version. Among them are a quest marker to guide the next steps, the ability to toggle encounters on or off, an option to restart battles immediately upon defeat, and subtitles for post-battle dialogues. The remaster will also include 80 DLC items from the original game, mainly offering the characters new outfits or cosmetic accessories.
Tales of Graces F Remastered is a remastered version of Tales of Graces F, where protagonist Asbel has a fateful encounter with a girl he names Sophie in a flower garden. Years later, alongside Prince Richard, their childhood friendship will empower them to withstand tragic events as they fight to protect those they love and the world they live in. With enhanced graphics, quality-of-life improvements, and over 80 DLCs from the original game already included, your adventure through the world of Ephinea will be unforgettable.
Bandai Namco has also announced that Tales of Graces F Remastered is now available for pre-order in both Standard and Deluxe editions. The Standard Edition includes only the base game, while the Deluxe Edition includes the game, a digital art book, and soundtrack, a battle soundtrack pack, and the Super Growth Support Herb set, which contains 15 different red herbs, each offering a permanent attribute boost.
Earlier this year, Bandai announced the Tales of Series Remastered Project, which aims to bring mainline titles from the series to modern platforms. Tales of Graces F Remastered is the next release, but in the past, the publisher has also brought back Tales of Symphonia Remastered and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. Additionally, Bandai Namco continues to develop new mainline games, as seen with Tales of Arise, which received the Beyond the Dawn DLC last year. Players have long requested remasters of Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2. Since these games, like Tales of Graces F, were initially released on the PS3, it seems only a matter of time before Bandai gives these titles a remaster.
Tales of Graces F Remastered is set to release on January 17, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
