This week, the digital gaming platform Steam is hosting the Couch Co-op Fest, featuring a wide array of discounted co-op games, new demos, and live streaming events.
As part of the Couch Co-op Fest, there are also free items available in the Steam Points Shop. Whether you enjoy customizing your avatar or just want to grab something for free, all Steam users can participate.
Based on the advertisements and trailers, it seems Steam is broadening the definition of “couch co-op” to encompass any type of co-op game, no matter where you play. That’s fine, I suppose.
One standout co-op game is Overcooked 2, which has become quite popular. This quirky puzzle and light platforming cooking game is currently discounted 75%, the lowest price yet. Baldur’s Gate 3, one of the top RPGs in recent years, also offers full co-op functionality, making it a fantastic choice if you’re prepared for an adventure lasting around 100 hours. It’s currently available at a 20% discount, its best offer so far.
If you've enjoyed BG3 and want more, you can check out Larian Studios’ earlier title, Divinity: Original Sin 2, which is currently available for a solid 70% off. For a classic co-op game suitable for teens and older, Left 4 Dead 2 is just $0.99/£0.85/0,97€. I could make a zombie joke about how it’s a no-brainer.
Additional great deals include LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (80% off), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate (35% off), and Sackboy: A Big Adventure (60% off). If you're interested in a brand new co-op experience, take a look at Door Kickers 2: Task Force North, which appears to be a charmingly nostalgic top-down tactical strategy game that combines gritty modern combat.
The Steam Couch Co-op Fest concludes on February 17. And remember to use our comparator to ensure you get the best deal on your next favorite game.
