STALKER 2 could still launch this year

Despite being one of the most eagerly awaited shooters in recent years, the development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has suffered interruptions that ended with the release of the game being postponed several times. The situation in Ukraine has not helped the studio which has been forced to multiply its efforts to try and finish the game. with such a scenario behind, the original release date announced for the game turned out to be an impossible goal, but there is still hope and the legion of fans waiting to play the game may be able to enjoy STALKER 2 before the current year ends.

Everything points to next December

The release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is currently scheduled for next December according to the Steam page of the game. Developer CSG Game World may be able to achieve launching the game this year since the studio has officially confirmed that the sequel to STALKER: Call of Pripyat will be playable this month at Gamescom. Meanwhile, distributor Plaion has listed STALKER 2 with a release date of December 1. Of course, there is no official confirmation on that matter yet. Hopefully, we will know more during this year's Gamescom, which will take place the last week of this month in Germany.

 

 

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will take us back to the Exclusion Zone in a new adventure where we will fight against the horrors hidden in the radioactive zone left as a result of the devastating accident that contaminated Chornobyl and the surrounding area.
