Remnant 2 finally gets crossplay

Remnant 2 was one of the most interesting games released last Summer and it managed to catch the eye of a sizeable community. The sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes surprised everyone with its exciting cooperative gameplay, the multiple options to build your character, and an exciting action-based gameplay that soon earned it the nickname "Dark Souls with guns". After releasing The Awakened King expansion, developer Gunfire Games promised to keep adding missing features to the game. One of these promises was to add cross-platform support to Remnant so players on PC and consoles could share the fun. It's been a long while, but the feature has finally been added to the game.

Bring your friends if you want to survive

Remnant 2 is set in a post-apocalyptic world where only a group of humans survive. Entities from other dimensions entered our world via portals, and these same portals are our only hope for redemption now as they allow us to fight against the invaders and explore their universes. You can now play Gunfire Games' survival shooter with friends from other platforms. the feature has been added in the latest update for the game which also has brought back one of the most acclaimed limited-time gameplay modes in Remnant 2: Aberration Domination. In this mode, you have to face a horde of aberrations sent by The Root to destroy you. As you defeat them, you will collect special Corrupted Shards that can be used to craft powerful versions of some weapons.

Aberration Domination will only be available in Remnant 2 until March 5 but Gunfire Games has more in storage. A second DLC will be the next addition to the game and we will soon hear about it. Meanwhile, Remnant 2 continues to be one of the most recommended games of 2023, and it now offers you the opportunity to group with your friends from other platforms.
