Orcs Must Die 3 is available for free on the Epic Games Store today

The Epic Games Store has been offering free PC games daily for nearly two weeks now. Today, it introduced the 11th title in the promotion, which takes the place of yesterday's Kill Knight offer. Orcs Must Die 3 is currently available for anyone to claim on the store, with the promotion lasting for the next 24 hours.

Created by Robot Entertainment, the third installment of the series continues the orc-slaying excitement of its predecessors, but on a grander scale. Players will need to set traps throughout the maps, equip themselves with weapons, and enhance them between rounds to fend off the progressively larger hordes.

With this version, the studio has also introduced the War Scenarios mode, allowing players to protect their bases against attacking orcs in an open environment, equipped with oversized traps to manage the massive orc forces. Orcs Must Die 3 can be played alone or in a cooperative two-player mode.

Since its debut in 2011, Orcs Must Die! has been a staple in the tower defense genre. The third game in the series expanded the battlefields with its new War Scenarios. It's also a great opportunity to revisit the franchise ahead of the upcoming Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, set for release in 2025, which will include co-op multiplayer and roguelite features.

This title has been offered on the store earlier this year, so you may already have it in your library.

The current giveaway for Orcs Must Die 3 is set to conclude at 8 am PT on December 30. Epic will also have another game available for PC players to claim at that time. And as always, remember to use our comparison tool to find the best deal for your next favorite game.
