The opening cinematic of Hitman 3 is here

It was announced at the beginning of the summer during Sony's conference, and its release is now fast approaching. We are talking about Hitman 3. Although PC gamers were somewhat disappointed to learn that the game will be temporarily exclusive to Epic Games Store like many others these days, Hitman 3 remains to be a highly anticipated game.

The fans of the franchise won't have to wait much longer because the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy will be released on January 20, 2021. Quite a bit of information about the game has been revealed so far through a variety of cinematic and gameplay videos, including some of the six destinations that will be available, like Dubai or more recently Chongqing, China. A new video of the game has been published today and it's quite an important one since it's the opening cinematic of Hitman 3.

We can see Agent 47 accompanied by Lucas Gray, his antagonist in the first installment of the trilogy, who apparently has become an ally in a fight against a common enemy, Providence. The action seems to start in Saudi Arabia as they approach Dubai, which is definitely one of their target destinations in Hitman 3 since we can also see the Burj Al-Ghazali skyscraper. But this cinematic has left some fans wondering, as Agent 47 is not really known to work in a team. The footage could leave open the possibility of cooperative multiplayer in the game. IO Interactive has not revealed any information on this matter now, but a while back they announced that Hitman 3 wouldn't offer multiplayer, so it's best not to get too carried away about this.

Hitman 3 will be available from January 20, 2021, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can find the best prices to purchase it on our comparator already.
