After escaping this terrible fate, he is now hunted by the Glukkons, but he has managed to thwart their evil plans through the several installments in the series. Oddworld: Soulstorm retakes Abe's story and challenges him with freeing his fellow Mudokons from slave labor once more.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is a sidescrolling 2.5D adventure in which you will have to traverse a variety of scenarios avoiding traps and guards in order to help the Mukodons in their fight for freedom. As usual, the destiny of your race lies in your hand, whether you like it or not, and you will have to do your best if you want to escape unscathed. Oddworld: Soulstorm introduces quite a few new mechanics in the series, and it features scavenging and crafting systems that will let you gather resources in order to craft weapons and other items that you will need to overcome obstacles as you progress through the game. In this adventure, you will also be followed by every other Mudokon that you rescue, and they can help you to fight against the Glukkons.
