With the launch of their RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 graphics cards, Nvidia has introduced the GeForce 572.16 WHQL drivers for Windows 10/11 systems. These drivers come packed with an array of new features for Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards, such as DLSS Override support, enhancements to RTX Video Super Resolution, and more.
The DLSS Override allows Nvidia GPUs to upgrade compatible games to the latest DLSS versions. This feature provides improved image quality for users with RTX 20, 30, 40, and 50 series GPUs. Additionally, it can offer DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation capabilities to select titles designed for DLSS 3 (only on RTX 50 series GPUs). Currently, DLSS Override support is available for over 75 games.

- DLSS 4: New artificial intelligence advancements enhance image quality and boost performance. Together with other DLSS technologies, DLSS Multi Frame Generation can increase frame rates by up to 8X on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
- DLSS 4 Overrides: Over 75 games and applications can be upgraded to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation through a new NVIDIA application feature.
- NVIDIA App: Optimizations and improvements for RTX Video Super Resolution, along with new multi-display settings, Advanced Optimus support, and more, are introduced in an update for the NVIDIA app.
- NVIDIA Broadcast: The widely-used app has been updated to incorporate two new AI-driven effects.
- RTX Game Updates: Get Game Ready for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, RTX Mega Geometry, RTX Hair, and Neural Radiance Cache in recent updates for titles such as Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Star Wars Outlaws.
- NVIDIA Smooth Motion: A new AI model at the driver level offers smoother gameplay by generating an additional frame between two rendered frames. This feature is exclusively available on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
- New Games: Be ready for the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, both of which utilize Nvidia’s DLSS technologies.
- New G-SYNC Compatible Displays: An additional 19 gaming displays are now supported.
