NBA 2K21 is free on PC

Saying that Epic Games has spent millions of dollars in buying games to give them away for free and promote its digital shop, is nothing new. They offer one or more video games that you can get for free and keep forever every week, and the list includes everything from small indie games to big AAA titles. If you have been collecting them since they started you should have a huge library of games that you can just install and play whenever you want. But all that is widely known already.

Every Thursday, a new game becomes available for free and the ones that will replace them are announced. But things are slightly different this week as the upcoming games are being kept as a surprise. We have had to wait for a whole week to know what game we would get, and it turned out that it's no other than NBA 2K21, the latest installment in the most popular basketball simulation series ever created.

2K Games has become the go-to publisher when it comes to sports games other than football, and it's for a good reason. Its games offer an incredible level of realism, plenty of gameplay modes, all of the fan-favorite teams and players, and thrilling gameplay that lets you enjoy your favorite sport while sitting comfortably at home. NBA 2K21 offers you all that and more in the definitive basketball simulation experience even though some people consider that the series has stagnated. You may not find many novelties in the game compared to previous installments in the series, but if you like basketball it's a must-have.

Epic Games does not plan to stop with their free games policy, and you will be able to get another game for free next week. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until next Thursday to find out which one it is.
