Monster Hunter Wilds is an upcoming installment in the Monster Hunter series that will incorporate plenty of novelties in terms of gameplay. The game will also feature a distinct visual style that looks more realistic and spectacular than ever as well as brand-new regions to explore, deadly weapons that will define your playstyle, and a plethora of monsters to hunt. Capcom already showed some of the new areas, like the Scarlet Forest, a beautiful place that a gigantic spider has turned into its hunting ground by covering it in red webs. However, there are quite a few terrors to hunt down in Monster Hunter Wilds, and a new one has been revealed recently.
Capcom has outdone itself with some of the new creatures in Monster Hunter Wilds. Nu Undra, for example, is a gigantic octopus that is capable of attacking independently with each of its limbs. If devising a strategy to hunt down a single monster is usually challenging, imagine trying to track an oily monstrosity with eight tentacles, each of them capable of releasing different attacks. Not only will it pose a colossal challenge to the players, but creating it has also been quite a technical feat for the development team. If you want to take a look at this terror you can watch it in action in a video courtesy of IGN, which shows the Oilwell Basin area and its apex monster in action against a group of hunters. The fight is really epic.
