King and Lars Alexandersson join Tekken 8's roster

Tekken 8's promotion is in full swing and Bandai Namco keeps releasing videos showing the fighters in the upcoming game. All of the fighters revealed so far have been present in previous installments, but they all have a completely new look and use some new martial arts movements in Tekken 8. In the last few days, two new fighters have been revealed: King and Lars Alexanderson. Each of them has its own gameplay reveal video and you can watch them below.

King

This Mexican fighter made his first appearance in the series in the first Tekken and has been accompanying the fans since then. Donning his iconic Jaguar mask, King has been a solid contender throughout the series. He prefers a more defensive style with moves inspired by wrestling and can easily take down any opponent he grabs hold of. As we can see in the video, King will continue to be a powerhouse at close quarters in Tekken 8.

Lars Alexandersson

The protagonist of Tekken 6's story mode returns to the fighting arena. Lars Alexandersson has been a recurring character in the series, and it's not strange to see him again in Tekken 8. He is a muscular yet agile fighter that uses the Tekken Forces Martial Arts to subdue his opponents.

King and Lars will join  Nina WilliamsKazuya MishimaJin KazamaPaul Phoenix, and Marshall Law in the starting fighter lineup for Tekken 8. Bandai Namco will probably reveal a few more fighters in the coming weeks.
