Despite the game looking awesome and having great success among the fans of Indiana Jones, MachineGames has been quite busy since Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released. The latest adventure starring the famous archaeologist does not present any game-breaking bugs, but there is still room for some improvements and polishing. The update on launch day addressed some problems but the developer studui has just released a new update that includes a series of new bug fixes and takes care of the most annoying issue that Xbox players were suffering: illumination problems.
The new adventure starring Indy offers a thrilling experience that is the closest you will ever see to a new film. However, as it usually happens in a majority of games, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle presents some minor bugs. Most of them revolve around very specific gameplay situations, some quests, and graphics, and a majority have been solved with the release of Update 2. For PC, those bugs were mainly about the Nvidia DLSS and Frame Generation functions. In the case of the Xbox Series, the majority of issues were about certain shadowed areas appearing brighter than they should have.
Fortunately, Update 2 is available already and it fixes all those problems and a few more, bringing up the game's performance to a higher level on all platforms. If you want to check out all the details about the patch notes, they have been published on Bethesda Softworks' blog. After the update, the game's visuals have improved a lot, and it looks even more awesome than it did, offering an immersive experience to Indy's fans.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released a bit too late to be considered as a candidate for the GOTY, but the game is the greatest Indiana Jones adventure ever created.
