Hollow Knight: Silksong is listed in Australia, bringing its release closer

Not too long ago, Hollow Knight: Silksong got its own page in the Microsoft Store. This was seen as a sign that indicated a possible announcement of a release date for the highly-anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight soon. There's no official confirmation of a release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong yet, but the events hinting at its proximity keep piling up. Now it's the turn of Australia, where the game has been rated as PG (Mild Violence). In this case, this is particularly relevant, because the studio in charge of developing the game is set in this country. It would make all sense then, that it would be the first place for Hollow Knight: Silksong to be rated at.

Are we there yet?

More than five years after the official announcement of Hollow Knight: Silksong a huge legion of fans is still waiting for it to be released. The game will introduce a new protagonist, a new scenario, and a plethora of new enemies to fight as you traverse beautiful scenarios in the role of Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest. Addictive metroidvania gameplay mechanics, and a whole new universe to discover are the highlights of an exciting adventure that will maintain the same visual style of its predecessor albeit featuring enhancements at all levels.

The postponement of the original release date that happened last year left the fans of the first game in disarray and the official updates on this matter since then have been scarce. However, the latest informations about the game seem to indicate that its release could happen as early as this summer.

Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released for PC, Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch and it's one of the most anticipated games in the metroidvania genre. As usual, you should keep an eye on our comparator if you want to buy a cheap Hollow Knight: Silksong code ahead of release for your preferred platform.
