Helldivers 2 is one of the sensations of this year and Arrowhead Studios has released plenty of new content for the game since it was available to play. From new weapons and enemies to new gameplay mechanics and cosmetics, Helldivers now have access to plenty of new features in the game. Those fighting for Democracy in Helldivers 2 stand stronger than ever and the events in the game continue adapting to the players' progression to deliver an exciting experience. However, one of the features preferred in the game by many players is the high level of customization that you can achieve via cosmetics. Arrowhead has announced a collaboration event between Helldivers 2 and Killzone 2 that will introduce a new Premium content tier in the game. Players will have access to a wide range of cosmetic items inspired by the shooter from Guerrilla Games. This content will be available via the Superstore in the game and includes the AC-1 Dutiful armour set, the StA-52 Assault Rifle, a banner, a brand-new cape, and a title. This is the first batch of Killzone 2-themed content coming to the game and it will be available on December 23 to all those willing to pay to unlock it. You can also expect to see more items and other collaborations in the future.

The overall reception to the announcement has been positive but there are some concerns about the price of the new cosmetics. In any case, none of those items is mandatory in any way to enjoy the game which still offers a very solid multiplayer experience to those willing to participate in a full-scale intergalactic war to defend Democracy.
