Halo Infinite continues to top the news with the launch of their first event, Fracture: Tenrai, last November 23. This event lasts for one week only, but don’t worry if you miss it or can’t complete the whole thing; it will come back “five more times” throughout Halo Infinite’s Season 1. Have a look at the launch trailer right now.
The Fracture: Tenrai event pass is free to all owners of Halo Infinite and is separate from the basic and premium passes. The event lasts from November 23 until November 30.
Up for grabs during the event are pieces of the Yoroi Armor set, which is based on medieval samurai armor, and several other cosmetics. Here are most of the goodies you can unlock in the event:
- Yoroi Legendary Armor Core – Level 5
- Gatekeeper Shoulder Pads – Level 10 and 15
- Sol Devil Weapon Coating for the Assault Rifle – Level 20
- Whispered Sky Weapon Coatings for the Sidekick, and Battle Rifle – Level 24, and 28
- Yokai Helmet – Level 25
- Swordsman’s Belt Legendary Utility – Level 30
- Emblems for customizing your armor, weapons, and Spartan ID
- 6 Challenge Swaps and 10 XP Grants
Note that you won’t be able to get everything on the first pass as 343 Games has instituted a weekly progression cap. You will need to come back on other runs to unlock everything. The slow progression of battle passes and this first event has drawn criticism from many Halo players as a tedious aspect of an otherwise stellar game.
Look out for more event announcements coming your way when the full game launches on December 8. If you don’t have the game yet, you don't have to miss out on all the fun. Check out the best prices for Halo Infinite.
