Grounded introduces flying insects

Grounded introduces flying insects

Since its release in early access this summer, Grounded has brought together a good number of players thanks to its gameplay based on survival in a rather original setting. Indeed, the game puts you in the shoes of a child who has been shrunk to the size of an insect and challenges you to survive in a once peaceful but now very hostile environment for you: the backyard of your home. Additional content is added regularly to the game through more or less significant updates. In particular, Grounded players had benefited from a significant addition of content at the end of the year with the opening of the pond area, which offers to the players quite a lot of new possibilities.

A new update of similar importance has just been released on the Grounded test servers. This update will be available on all servers in a few days, and it will bring one thing players have been waiting for, flying insects. At the moment, only three species will be added to the game: bees, mosquitoes, and fireflies. As Grounded is a survival game, this obviously means that new resources can be gathered from these insects to craft a variety of new items in the game. The addition of flying bugs is also going to have an impact on the way players play Grounded by forcing them to be very careful when choosing the location of their base camp, for example.

The update also fixes a few bugs and brings some improvements, including a feature that players have been eagerly waiting for: equipped items will no longer occupy slots in the bag. You can check out the full patch notes right here. If you want to test all the content in the new Grounded update, the test servers are available to all players on Xbox and PC.
