FromSoftware appears to be hiring for Armored Core IV DLC

Just like the Souls Series, Armored Core is a crucial IP for FromSoftware. Hidetaka Miyazaki has previously revealed that Armored Core 6 will not be the end of this series, confirming that there will be more new projects for Armored Core in the future.

Following the success of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware has begun taking action for their next project. According to a job listing, FromSoftware seems to be hiring additional staff to work on a project related to Armored Core.

The job description mentions that they are looking for designers for modeling, specifically "Modeling and texturing characters or robots," and clearly one of FromSoftware's IPs that involves robot designs is Armored Core. With last year's information from Zullie mentioning some lines from Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon's dialogue hinting at an upcoming DLC, there's a strong possibility that this is a sign FromSoftware is developing a DLC for Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon.

Some players speculate that this job listing might be for the next Armored Core game instead of a DLC. However, considering the recent success of FromSoftware's expansion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, it's highly likely that Armored Core 6 will receive similar treatment. But we'll have to wait and see.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon was released almost a year ago on August 25, 2023, and it has been well received by both critics and players. Though Armored Core was once seen as a niche game with limited appeal, FromSoftware has proven otherwise with Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, attracting many new fans to the series. If you're a fan of robots, this might be the game for you.
