We don't want to stir up console/PC war, but Square Enix and Luminous Productions released a new Forspoken trailer highlighting PC-exclusive features, and wow, it looks impressive. It showcases both gameplay and in-game cinematic footage from the PC version.
For a game that prizes movement, dynamism, and spares no effort to show off its magical special effects, Forspoken is really delivering it all to the fans. Given its fast-paced combat, 60 FPS is more essential than optional, something the game has been promising on all hardware of the current generation. One of the reasons, incidentally, why its launch for the older generations was dropped.
All these features, however, come at a high hardware cost. If you want to enjoy everything Forspoken offers, you will need a beast PC with an RTX 4080, which is not necessarily affordable. Check out the other system requirements to run the game in its various qualities:
Although Square Enix has a strong relationship with Epic Games, Forspoken will be available for PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store. The game release is just around the corner, January 24. You can check the demo before purchasing it, but if you intend to acquire it, you should check out our comparator for best game deals on Forspoken and start venturing through Athia on your magical and sleek parkours.
