FromSoftware is a synonym of great games. That much has been demonstrated through the studio's long career. Starting with Dark Souls and ending with Elden Ring the Japanese developer has demonstrated that every one of its games has enough potential to become a massive hit. That also includes game expansions. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was nominated in several categories in the recent The Game Awards which generated a certain controversy since it's not a full game but a DLC. In any case, this doesn't deny the merits of the expansion which was one of the best pieces of content released last year.

With the hype over Elden Ring being through the roof, the surprise announcement of a new game in the franchise during The Game Awards left everyone amazed. The reveal of Elden Ring: Nightreign with a spectacular trailer left the fans of the series eager to know more about the game. Network Test in February

Publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed that a beta of Elden Ring: Nightreign will take place next February. It will be available exclusively to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series players and those interested will be able to register to participate starting on January 10th. No details have been revealed about the contents in the beta event, but the development of the game must be in a very advanced state if FromSoftware is confident enough to launch a beta. Be prepared to submit your request to participate if you don't want to miss this beta test event. The demand will be quite high even though it seems that FromSoftware plans to include a good number of players in the test.

"The network test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch. Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by conducting large-scale network load tests."
