EA reveals FIFA 23

EA reveals FIFA 23

After revealing who will be the cover players for the last installment in the FIFA series, Electronic Arts has finally shown FIFA 23. Yesterday's presentation brought a lot of novelties, but the most noticeable one is the total inclusion of women's football. Not only has Sam Kerr become the first female cover star in the series, but FIFA 23 will feature the Barclays Women's Super League and the D1 Arkema on top of the usual leagues available in previous FIFA games. These two will be available at launch, but there will be more competitions added later via free updates, like the men's FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023.

Better graphics on PC

On the technical side, FIFA 23 will finally close the gap between all platforms. Previously, some players felt mistreated by the developer because it was only possible to experience all the technical advancements of the game on next-gen consoles. If you were playing FIFA 22 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, or Xbox One, "HyperMotion" gameplay features were unavailable to you. With FIFA 23, PC players will take full advantage of the new HyperMotion 2 system with animations, gameplay, and graphics improvements, matching the level of performance achieved by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Crossplay, a plethora of game modes, and the most comprehensive selection of competitions, teams, and players in the genre make FIFA 23 the most recommended video game for football fans. The game will release on September 30 on all platforms, but if you own the Ultimate edition, you will be able to start playing three days earlier.
