Barely one week after release, Techland has solved most minor issues in Dying Light 2, and the Polish developer is already thinking in the months ahead. Players have been promised five years of post-launch content and support for the game, and it seems that they won't have to wait much longer to see the first bits of content added to the exciting survival zombie adventure. Techland has announced the first DLC for Dying Light 2, which will be focused on one of the factions in the game, the Peacekeepers.
This DLC pack for Dying Light 2 is called the Authority Pack, and it features a complete set of armor and a weapon. It will be released in three parts. If you have decided to ally with the Peacekeepers in the game, it will be the perfect-looking outfit for you, especially if you like to smash the infected in melee combat, since the weapon included in the pack is a cool-looking two-handed hammer. Of course, the Authority pack will be available for free to all Dying Light 2 players on all platforms. We don't know yet when you will be able to unlock it, but Techland has said that it will be soon.
The Authority Pack marks the beginning of Dying Light 2's life after release, and Techland surely has plenty of things in store for us. We could have a look at the post-launch roadmap before, and according to it, the Survivors are entitled to another DLC like this one in the future.
