On February 31st, the long-awaited update finally arrived. Bandai Namco officially launched the latest update for Death Note Killer Within, introducing a brand-new role, bringing the total number of roles in the game to five, along with numerous new avatars and customization accessories.
This latest update introduces the new "Mello" role. Mello's objective is to beat Team L to the punch by eliminating Kira first. Unlike Team Kira or Team L, Mello is an independent player. He can fire his gun once per action phase to eliminate a player without needing their ID. However, the gunshot is loud and can be heard by nearby players, so be sure no one is around to witness it. But be careful—if Mello mistakenly kills L, Team Kira will win.
