Dead Space has a release date

Just yesterday, Electronic Arts was teasing that it would release four games during the current fiscal year, one of them "an important IP." Although the publisher didn't provide any names, one of them is supposed to be a remake, and it was logical to think that it could be no other than Dead Space. The game was announced last summer, and the fans of the original title from 2008 are eagerly waiting for it. Following yesterday's announcement, Electronic Arts has confirmed that the new Dead Space will launch on January 27th, 2023, and it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Although the Dead Space remake does not change the story, it's created from the ground by the Frostbite engine, and it will deliver a more immersive experience thanks to its graphics, which are perfect for such a sci-fi survival horror experience. Whether you have followed the steps of engineer Isaac Clarke in the past or not, accompanying him in this new adventure as he navigates the entrails of the USG Ishimura while fighting against the necromorphs will take you to the limit.

A new video

The announcement of the release date has been accompanied by a brand new Dead Space video that provides some insight into the development process of the scenarios and environments in the game. It's a bit technical, but it shows that the atmosphere in the game will be dark and oppressive. It also compares the quality level of the new game to the classic Dead Space from 2008.

The new Dead Space definitely looks impressive, and it has all the elements needed to become a hit among the fans of the genre. You will be able to find the best prices to buy Dead Space cheap on all platforms with our comparator ahead of the release.
