Darktide celebrates its anniversary with new content

It's been a year already since Fatshark released Warhammer 40,000: Darktide for the joy of the fans of Games Workshop's tabletop game. The game delivers an exciting multiplayer experience that is quite similar to the one available in Vermintide 2 but with the obvious differences coming from being set in a different scenario. Of course, the gameplay in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is as exciting and frenetic as other games from the studio.

Happy anniversary!

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide didn't quite hit the nail with its talent system at launch but many of its features have been improved in the last few months. The result is a resurgence in the number of players which also translates into a better multiplayer experience. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the game, Fatshark has announced that it's releasing new content for the game throughin two patches that will introduce quite a few novelties to Darktide.

The first patch will arrive this month, and it will add a new zone for you to fight against the corrupted servants of Chaos. The first part of The Traitor Curse will also bring new features, including an option to inspect players' equipment and new Keystones for the Veteran's talent tree. The second part of the update will be released sometime in December. Although there is no news about its contents, it's likely to include a new mission and some other additional features that the players have been requesting.

It seems that Fatshark has finally managed to take Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to the position it should have been at launch. With its new gameplay and progression mechanics, and even more content coming to the game soon, it's a very good moment to immerse into the game or return to it.
