Cities Skylines 2 modifies its system requirements for PC

The upcoming release of Cities: Skylines II by the end of this month has all the fans of the genre excited. Not only the game promises new features to enhance the gameplay experience but it also features a major boost to the graphics level. The successor to Cities: Skylines builds on its predecessor's features to provide the players with even more building options and more realistic mechanics that include new tools for creating the roads in your city, an improved AI to control traffic and make it more dynamic, new signature buildings and city services, and more.

The goal of the developer is to allow you to create a lifelike city that simulates every single aspect of a real city. This will open up new ways of managing your projects in Cities: Skylines II, but it will also require you to pay more attention to new fields of development and adapt to the changes derived from the natural growth of the city and the consequences of your own decisions.

A superior level of graphics

If you thought that the graphics in the previous game were good, you will be impressed with Cities: Skylines II. The game is designed for next-generation consoles and PCs and therefore it's quite a bit more demanding in terms of hardware than the first installment in the series. Developer Paradox Interactive has recently modified the system requirements that your PC will need to meet in order to play Cities: Skylines II. You can check out the new system requirements below.

Also, if you were expecting to play the game on Xbox Series or PlayStation 5 you are going to feel a bit disappointed after knowing that Paradox has delayed the release of the game on consoles to Spring 2024.
