Celebrate Fallout Day 2024 with discounts on Fallout franchise games and DLCs

Fallout Day, also referred to as Bombs Drop Day, commemorates the beginning of the Great War in the Fallout universe, occurring on October 27, 2077. The Great War in the Fallout franchise was marked by extensive nuclear warfare, starting and concluding on the same day according to the official timeline. In anticipation of this year’s festivities, Bethesda has revealed some planned events for Fallout 76. Fans should also be aware of what to expect from other games in the Fallout franchise, drawing from previous years’ Fallout Day celebrations.

Despite having one of the most notoriously problematic videogame launches in recent history, Fallout 76 has transformed into an enjoyable live service RPG adventure. If you haven’t played it yet or stopped due to initial disappointment, it’s certainly worth revisiting now – along with your friends. As Bethesda gears up for another surge of excitement around Fallout with its Fallout Day events, it provides an excellent chance for you to explore the game. Fallout 76 will be available to play for free, but only for a limited time of one week.

Fallout Day is currently being held on Steam, and for the first time, Bethesda will host a dedicated livestream filled with updates and information about its post-apocalyptic world. The highlight will be a preview of upcoming content for Fallout 76, including the charming addition of pets to the multiplayer RPG. I’m sure that many other new features slated for its Gleaming Depths update, expected at the end of 2024, will also be showcased.

Fallout 76 is now available for free, and this offer will end on Tuesday, October 29. You can download it on Steam from this link. If your adventure in West Virginia makes a lasting impression, you can purchase Fallout 76 at a significant discount currently being offered. The game is 75% off on Steam, reducing the price from $39.99/€39.99 down to just $9.99/€9.99. This offer, like the free play weekend, expires on October 29.

Beyond Fallout 76, the Fallout franchise games and their downloadable content on certain platforms have begun to enjoy discounts in honor of Fallout Day this year. It’s an ideal occasion for dedicated fans who haven’t played some of the classic games, as well as for new enthusiasts drawn in by the popularity of the Fallout show, to finally experience these games. Typically, these promotions encompass every title and DLC within the franchise, along with in-game transactions for Fallout Shelter.
