After generating a lot of excitement with its announcement, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 ended disappearing from the radar quite a few months ago. Despite looking great on the initial footage and having caught the eye of many fans of White Wolf's World of Darkness role-playing games, the sequel to the cult game developed by Troika Games is not having an easy development process. A game whose release was originally scheduled for 2020 has ended with several delays and a change of developer after several people in charge of the project at Hardsuit Labs were fired.
Paradox Interactive seemed to have abandoned the project, but we got the news that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was still in development about half a year ago. The publisher confirmed that the game is now "in good hands" and that it's "happy with the progress". The most amusing thing about all this is that we currently don't know who is in charge of developing the game now.
When many Vampire: The Masquerade fans were wondering if they will ever play Bloodlines 2, Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester has confirmed that the company won't be showing the game during this year's PDXCon 2022. The event will take place in Stockholm on September 2, and it will allow the fans to meet the developers of their favorite games and participate in all kinds of activities. Although nobody probably expected to have news of Bloodlines 2 during the event, the secrecy around the title is quite unusual.
Unfortunately not this time.

Fortunately, Bloodlines 2 is not the only way of immersing yourself in the World of Darkness. You can use our comparator to get a Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong PC key or a Vampire: The Masquerade - Shadows of New York code for a more narrative approach to the franchise.
