Battlefield 2042 is having a rocky launch

Battlefield 2042 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, but its launch is not exactly as smooth as players expected. First of all, the game has several bugs that are disturbing the gameplay experience of some players. Developer DICE has compiled a list of Battlefield 2042 known issues that are to be fixed. Finding yourself stuck in an infinite queue without a way of leaving it except resetting the game is one of the most annoying ones, but you should keep an eye on the others too and report any other problems you may suffer in the game if you want them looked into.

Other than the bugs, Battlefield 2042 launch is polemical due to other occurrences. On the one hand, many players complain about the new scoreboard in the game and ask for the return of the classic system. Currently, it offers no way for players to figure out how they are doing compared to others, which seems to be the main point of the whole scoreboard feature. Even though it's a minor issue, this matter has got a lot of attention on Reddit, but DICE is yet to comment about it.

On the other hand, Electronic Arts has already confirmed that they will be changing one of the epic skins in the game. The Little Green Man skin for specialist Pyotr "Boris" Gukovsky will be renamed because it "unintentionally references a real world issue, and isn't reflective of our team's values." The current name makes reference to the Russian forces that took part in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that started with the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

But if we leave those things aside, Battlefield 2042 does not offer a bad gameplay experience, and it will definitely get better once DICE starts patching the game, which should happen very soon.
