Baldur's Gate III introduces a new antagonist

Those players that have been following the Baldur's Gate series know that the eponymous city has always been complex when it comes to its governors. Baldur's Gate is a very important place in the Forgotten Realms scenario and it has gained relevance over the years. Therefore, many factions and individuals have coveted the position of governor of the city. In Baldur's Gate III, a new figure has risen as the protector of the city, and developer Larian Studios introduces him in a new video that also lets us peek into the labyrinth of the city's politics.

A ruler with a taste for mechanical toys

Lord Enver Gortash is an ambitious man and the creator of the Steel Watchers. These mechanical automatons are in charge of protecting Baldur's Gate but nothing is at simple as it seems in Baldur's Gate III. In the game, you will be dragged into a terrifying power struggle where many factions have a secret agenda, and your actions will determine the future of the city. Maybe the Lord wouldn't be too much of a problem if you didn't have to worry about the parasite that is eating your brains, but you will find yourself with your hands full very soon.

As it happened in previous games in the series, the story in Baldurs Gate III will be full of twists and turns, becoming one of the main reasons to play the game beyond the exciting new gameplay mechanics. Although Larian is not BioWare, the studio is well known for its work on notable RPGs like Divinity: Original Sin II. You can expect an engaging and thrilling narrative that will keep you glued to the screen for many hours in Baldur's Gate III.

Remember that you can pre-order the game on PlayStation 5 and PC already. An Xbox version is in the works and we don't know yet if it will be ready for the release on August 31. In any case, you can find the best offers on Baldur's Gate 3 codes with our comparator.
