It's not unusual to see the requirements needed to play a game changed before it releases but Baldur's Gate III is doubling them, and it's just for the Early Access version of the game. That's quite a noticeable change for a version that will give players limited access to the content in the game. Early Access starts today for Baldur's Gare III but those that have purchased the game will only be able to play through the Act 1 of the game, choosing between 16 different races and sub-races and a few classes to create their characters, including Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock, and Wizard.
Baldur's Gate III Early Access version requires now quite a sizeable amount of space in your storage device, with 150 GB that you will have to download before you can play the game via Google Stadia, Steam, and GoG today at 7 p.m. CEST. Mac users will also be able to join Baldur's Gate III Early Access on the same date, as confirmed by developer Larian Studios via the official Twitter account of the game.
We've got a big surprise for Mac fans. Baldur's Gate 3 will also launch on Mac, tomorrow 10am PT! Now, Mac fans will very much be part of the Early Access journey. pic.twitter.com/7SwhlFswc5
