Koei Tecmo has shared a brand new trailer to celebrate the launch of Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. This game from developer Omega Force, comes as a massive expansion for Attack on Titan 2. You can find two versions of it. One is an upgrade for those that already own the base game, and the other is a full pack that includes both. Taking the core experience of Attack on Titan 2, which released early last year across multiple platforms, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle picks up where the last one left off at the end of Season 1 of the show and continues with Season 2 and 3 storylines, but it also comes with a new narrative of the anime’s Season 1.
You’ll get to interact with all the big names from the Attack on Titan cast, with the ability to increase and rank up your friendship with each one of them depending on your dialogue choices and the side-quests you complete. Boosting these bonds can also open up new abilities and buffs in combat, adding an extra incentive to run around and seek out each character.
In Character Episode mode, gamers will follow the Season 3 storyline across three different timelines: the Scout Regiment, 104th Cadet Corps, and the Warriors - witnessing pivotal plot points through the eyes of key characters. In Territory Recovery mode, aspiring commanders can create their own dream team, using any of the 40+ playable characters in the roster to venture outside of the walls and fight to claim the land back for humanity.
A wealth of equipment is supplied to the Scouts to tackle all shapes and sizes of Titans. The tried-and-tested Slashing Gear uses blades to deliver serious damage to body parts. Those who prefer long-distance attacks can instead equip the deadly Shooting Gear; with two guns that deal quick-fire damage. Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle features a fresh array of weapons, including Thunder Spears and a Gatling Gun, not to mention Omni-Directional Mobility gear that will send you swinging from rooftops to slice enemies with your trusty blade.
Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is available now for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
