Concord is shaping into one of those games that you love or hate. Its peculiarities appeared in full view during the early access beta last week, making the game quite appealing for some players and a nightmare for others. Permanent deployables allow creative players to set up a defensive network of shields, healing pads, and other obstacles that make defending certain locations much easier, especially against unprepared opponents. This has caused many players to complain, but it does not mean Concord is not a good game. It's just different and original in its own way. Whether certain players are prepared to deal with the fact that the game may not be for them is another matter.
In terms of gameplay, graphics, and overall fun Concord seems quite ok, and the overall reception has been positive. This is why you should give it a try if you are looking for a new team-based competitive FPS experience.
The best thing about all this is that you can do it for free this weekend.
Concord's open beta kicks off today and allows any player to discover the game on Pc and PlayStation 5. Download and install the game via Steam or the PS Store and you will be ready to enjoy the game throughout the weekend. The beta gives you access to five maps, one more than in the previous beta event, Freewater, Water Hazard, Star Chamber, Shock Risk, and Bone Mines. With a total of 16 characters for you to choose from and four gameplay modes, you won´t easily get bored the next few days. Also, if you played the closed beta, your progress will carry over to this event and you will keep everything you unlocked.
Don't get your hopes high. Any progress made during any beta event previous to the release of the game will be wiped when the official launch happens on August 23 and you will have to start progression all over. Remember that if you decide Concord is your cup of tea, our comparator lets you purchase the cheapest Concord game code for your preferred platform.
