Alan Wake 2's new expansion is launching next week

Alan Wake 2 is a critically acclaimed psychological horror adventure that brought back to the frontline the iconic world created by Remedy Entertainment. The studio has expanded such a mysterious and paranormal setting as the scenario for several of its games, including the first Alan Wake and Control. Fourteen years after events in the first game in the series, the famous novelist returns from an uncertain destiny after disappearing from the reality we know. This new story offers two distinct points of view of a universe, as Alan Wake 2 also features a second protagonist, Saga Anderson, a special agent who will also discover that there are more things happening in the small town of Bright Falls than it seems at first glance.

Leaked release date

After expanding Alan Wake 2 with the Night Springs DLC a few months ago, the studio is ready to release the second one. Although it's not been officially announced, we already know the release date of The Lake House. The information has been leaked in a product listing for Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition, whose description read the following:

“Please note due to the global release of Alan Wake 2: Deluxe Edition, the in disc DLC for the Lake House Expansion will not unlock until midnight on 22nd Oct 2024.”

We lack an official confirmation, which may arrive later this week. However, it seems quite reasonable to think that the new content will finally be available next week.
