As we advanced last week, Alan Wake 2 received a brand new DLC which players could discover yesterday. In the shoes of FBC Agent Kiran Estevez, you will travel to a mysterious research facility from the Federal Bureau of Control where a new threat has found its way into our reality. New enemies, secrets to discover, and a thrilling story await you in the second expansion for Alan Wake 2 which is now available via the Expansion Pass included in Deluxe Edition or as a Digital Deluxe Upgrade for the Standard Edition of the game.

This is not the only addition that Remedy's horror adventure received yesterday. The developer studio released a free update that introduced plenty of quality-of-life enhancements to the game on the occasion of its first anniversary. The list of enhancements includes an option to invert the horizontal axis on the mouse and controllers, the addition of gyro aiming (motion controls) and haptic support for healing items and throwables on DualSense controllers, and an improved Gameplay Assist menu with new options. Players can now toggle on and off the following:

Quick turn
Auto complete QTE
Button tapping to single tap
Weapon charging with taps
Healing items with taps
Lightshifter with taps
Player invulnerability
Player immortality
One shot kill
Infinite ammo
Infinite flashlight batteries
