Tales of Monkey Island is available again on PC

If you have been playing video games for a long while it's 100% sure that you have played some of the adventure games created by LucasArts. Along with Sierra, they were the creators of some of the most popular point-and-click adventures and their games were in every video game collection back in the day. Undoubtedly, one of the most fun of those games was The Secret of Monkey Island, a hilarious adventure in which the protagonist, Guybrush Threepwood, struggles to defeat the undead pirate captain Le Chuck and win the heart of his beloved, Elaine Marley. This classic game is a true jewel of the genre and it gave birth to a whole series of sequels over the years, the last one of them being Tales of Monkey Island.

With modern visuals and scenarios in 3D, Tales of Monkey Island continues the misadventures of the poor Guybrush and takes you through a refreshing and new story that the fans of the series loved when the game was released in 2009. Tales of Monkey Island was developed by the now-extinct Telltale Games, creators of episodic series like The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, or The Wolf Among Us,  and when it disappeared, the game stopped being available on several digital distribution platforms, like GOG or Steam. It seems that a new company is the owner of the license now, and Tales of Monkey Island is available again on those platforms, listed as developed by LCG Entertainment and published by Athlon Games.

If you are a fan of classic graphic adventures this is a game that you shouldn't miss, both because it's the sequel to one of the most famous graphic adventure games of all times and because it's a great game too. Like other titles from Telltale Games, Tales of Monkey Island is an epic saga that was released in five different episodes.
