When it comes to fighting games, it's become quite common to add extra fighters to a game after it's been released. This is usually done through DLCs included in a Season Pass and that's exactly what happened with the latest installment in the long-lived Mortal Kombat series. In this case, the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack added a total of six new characters to the roster of fighters available in Mortal Kombat 11, including Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Terminator T-800, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn. Each of them came with new moves and fatalities, and plenty of players have unlocked them already. But if you haven't tried the game yet you might want to wait until next month because a new version of Mortal Kombat 11 is going to be released.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection will include the base game, along with all the characters in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack, but it also comes with the upcoming new expansion for the game, Aftermath. The expansion features a brand-new cinematic story in which Fire God Liu Kang recruits a group of fighters to fight for him and secure the future of the Earthrealm. The expansion adds three new fighters, namely Sheeva, Fujin, and Robocop, as well as three new skin packs that will be released later.
If you already own Mortal Kombat 11 you can experience the new story in the Aftermath expansion starting on May 26th providing that you buy it separately, of course. But if you don't have the game yet, your best option is to buy Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection and you will have access to all the content released to the date. You just will have to wait a bit longer since Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection won´t be available until June 16th on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
