Halo 3 public testing starts next month

As we explained in a previous article, developer 343 Industries is quite busy lately with the release of the games included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It's been just a few weeks since Halo 2: Anniversary was released on PC and although we expected that the testing of the next game included in the compilation would start very soon it seems that the testing process is going much faster than we expected. 343 Industries has confirmed that the public flighting phase for Halo 3 will start in the first week of June. Flighting is the name that developers have given to beta testing, and like every other game included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo 3 is going through an initial testing stage only available to developers and then it will open to all the members of the Halo Insider program.

If you are eager to give the new version of Halo 3 a try on PC, all you have to do is joining the Halo Insider program and you will be able to be selected to try the game when the next stage of testing begins. Although becoming a Halo Insider member doesn't guarantee that you will be selected to try the game, it costs you nothing to join the program and it only requires you to submit your system specs. Also, even if you are not one of the people selected to test Halo 3, you will still be eligible to take part in future testing stages for upcoming games, and there are a couple more that are still to be released as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, including Halo 3:ODST and Halo 4.

With revamped versions of six different Halo games for you to enjoy on PC and Xbox One, Halo: The Master Chief Collection offers you the most complete Halo experience. You can find it at the best price on our comparator.
