Grounded demo is available on Steam and Xbox One

The announcement of Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming adventure has generated quite a lot of expectation among the players since it happened a few weeks ago. Grounded is a new take on a story that will feel very familiar to many people since it's plot is very similar to the popular film from Disney Honey, I shrunk the kids. Although the story in the game is different, the premise is the same and you will find yourself exploring your backyard after being reduced to a very tiny size. As we explained in a previous article, Grounded will feature a vast territory full of dangers to explore. It's not that your backyard is a dangerous place by itself, of course, but since you are reduced to the size of an insect, everything will be colossal for you, including plants, everyday items, and insects.

Grounded will combine exploration with resource gathering and crafting to deliver an exciting experience that you will be able to share with your friends in cooperative multiplayer. As you follow the different missions of the story in Grounded, you will discover every corner of your backyard. That is, of course, if you manage to survive to all the threats that you will have to face. A good idea would be to gather enough materials to craft some armor and weapons for yourself, so you can fight against the insects of your backyard. Where they are ferocious predators or you are accidentally invading their territory, these will prove to be a quite a challenge that you will have to overcome in one way or another.

If Grounded sounds as an exciting adventure to you, there is a free demo available that allows you to experience a part of this incredible adventure. You can download the demo of Grounded on Steam for PC, or if you are a member of Xbox Insider, you will also find it in the hub to play it on your console.
