Borderlands 3 celebrates its anniversary

It's been almost a year since Borderlands 3 was released and Gearbox has been busy during that time releasing additional content for their first-person shooter. The game had a great launch and it was highly anticipated, mainly due to the popularity of the previous installments in the series, but Borderlands 3 has managed to gather a lot of adepts by itself with its frenetic gameplay. Now that its anniversary is getting closer, Gearbox has prepared a lot of events to celebrate it. These will start on July 30th and will last through six weeks, in which Borderlands 3 players will be able to earn extra rewards while playing the game, including the content related to the DLC in the Borderlands 3 Season Pass.

This is the event calendar:

ECHOcast Overload (9 AM PT July 30 to 8:59 AM PT August 6) - Better chance of scoring loot during Rare Chest Events in the ECHOcast Twitch extension
Bonus Boss Loot (9 AM PT August 6 to 8:59 AM PT August 13) - Most bosses have an increased chance to drop Legendary loot
Loot Monster Mayhem (9 AM PT August 13 to 8:59 AM PT August 20) - Increased spawn rates for Loot variant enemies
Show Me The Eridium (9 AM PT August 20 to 8:59 AM PT August 27) - Increased Eridium drops and Eridium item discounts
Mayhem Made Mild (9 AM PT August 27 to 8:59 AM PT September 3) - All Easy modifiers in Mayhem Mode
Making It Rain (9 AM PT September 3 to 8:59 AM PT September 10) - Enemies drop more in-game cash

Other than the events, the first anniversary of Borderlands 3 has already brought a new patch that introduced a new way of spending your hard-earned eridium. You can spend it on the Veteran Rewards machine in Sanctuary III to get rare mission rewards (hello, Lyuda) and also upgrade the Fabricator gun to a new version that will guarantee you a legendary weapon drop at the cost of more eridium per shot.
