    Fallout is a CRPG set in a post-apocalyptic world in the aftermath of a nuclear war that has turned most of it into a wasteland. In the game, you take the role of one of the descendants of a group of survivors who have managed to escape from the effects of radiation by confining themselves into underground bunkers. However, the chip that controls the water generation system in your bunker is damaged, and you are sent outside to look for a way to repair it. When you finally leave Vault 13, you encounter an unknown world devastated by radiation but populated by mutants and all kinds of dangerous creatures.
