God of Rock offers you a unique combination of fighting and music-based mechanics to deliver a competitive experience where you are rewarded for following the rhythm of the music. Each fighter has its own style and special mechanics, but the idea is that you have to use normal attacks to weaken your opponent's defenses. If your attacks match the notes of the song, you will build up an energy meter that will allow you to execute super-attacks once it's charged. With each combat, the music changes and the difficulty gets progressively higher.
